Some more recent stuff...

Now moving to the year 1939... The German army had swiftly thrust deep into Poland. Everywhere the Blitzkrieg tactics were employed with resounding success. it seemed impossible to stop the combined onslaught of Stuka dive bombers and artillery barrages, followed by armored assault. But at the Bzura river, near Kutno the German army suffered unexpected heavy losses. Among the victims was this tiny Panzer I ausf A, numbered 22.
This type of tank was very small and allready obsolete by 1939, too lightly armored and equipped only with machine guns, literally no match for the Polish anti-tank defences.
This is my interpretation of what it probably looked like, given that only blurry black and white pictures of it exist...
The model is produced by Dragon and it was built straight out of the box! It needed absolutely no additions or corrections and went together in a breeze, although some of the parts were ridiculously tiny!
